EST 2010 - Reaching out to our Volunteers!

Hey all,

EST2010 (Eastern State Throwdown) is around the corner (19th of September)
and we are looking for volunteers to help us out again!

The positions and the number of people that we need are as follows:

Stage Coordinator     - 1

Ensure that the event is running according to schedule. Ensuring the
proper setup is in place. Works concurrently with Emcee but you don't need
to sing or announce anything to the public.

Emcee                       - 1

The role of the Emcee is to facilitate the event and establish rapport of
the audience.

Music Coordinator     - 1

Control the sequence of the music freestyles, press play and pause of
music track. Music will be control via quicktime or itunes.

Logistics                   - 2

Help setup and tear down of the venue.

Welfare                     - 1

Ensure the volunteers are well hydrated and run errands to pick up meals.

Registration              - 2

Collection of registration fees and administrative details.

Videographer           - 1

Film freestyle sequences of event. Need to know how to operate video camera.

Minimum age limit - 14


If you have a desire to help us out at the contest, whether you have
volunteered for our past events, or if you are a first time volunteer, do
not be afraid to approach us and volunteer your services.

Even if you are competing, you can still be a volunteer! Just find another
partner who can take turns with you.
