American Club

Earlier this month, a few of our Spinworkx crew members made their way down to the American Club to attend their Stars & Stripes Youth Camp, dazzling the kids with their yo-yo skills and teaching them a thing or two about yo-yoing!

This isn't the first time the Spinworkx crew has been to the American Club to perform. Just a few months back, 3 brave men headed down to teach a bunch of the most enthusiastic kids they've ever met, and went home with this!

Spinworkx Yoyo Review: Budget Busters

When One Drop Yo Yos first released the M1, it sparked a rave among the yo-yo community. Finally, a high performance metal yo-yo at the 2/3 to even 1/2 the price of your average high-performance metal.

Not long after, however, YoyoFactory figured they too could play the same game, and released three budget busters, the DV888, a collaboration project between YoyoFactory and Dave Bazaan from Buzzon Yo-Yos, the Hectic, another metal yo-yo that sports a rather unique design, and lastly, the Frantic, which takes the shape of the Catch 22.

Today, we take a look at the large bearing YYF Hectic and the One Drop Flow Groove M1 to see what both yo-yo companies have brought to the table in terms of high performance budget metals.

So we've got a few people asking us about the difference between the old and new Plastic Grind Machines,  questions which include, "Why the price drop?", or "Does it play better?", or "Is it a new design?" etc.

We decided to take both father and son out for a spin to find out more...
