The Singapore Yo-Yo Championships (SYYC) is coming right up and what better way to celebrate the 10th year of SYYC than having it together with the Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Championships (AP)!
This year will feature National and World level participants, and is sure to be an event unlike any other.

SYYC 2012 will feature the same 4 divisions, namely:
1) Single Handed (1A)
2) Double Handed (2A)
3) Offstring (4A)
4) Counterweight (5A)

**SYYC 2011 Champions are seeded for both SYYC 2012 & AP 2012
**Regional Champions are only seeded for SYYC 2012. They will need to do a 1minute freestyle to qualify for AP 2012 Finals.

Registration:
For a base of just $15 (early bird registration), competitors can take part in as many categories as they like!
All registrations after the 30th of June will be $20.

Do take note how SYYC 2012 & AP 2012 will take place:
1) SYYC participants and AP participants all take part in 1 minute qualifiers.
2) Singapore participants qualifiers will be considered for both AP and SYYC. (E.G. Christopher Chia 1A 1min is for both SYYC and AP)
3) Top Singaporean 1min freestyles qualify for SYYC finals. (Spinners can also qualify for 3 minute finals)
4) If these top Singaporean 1min freestyles are also amongst the top AP 1min freestyles, they qualify for AP finals as well.
5) Players who qualify for both SYYC and AP will only need to do ONE freestyle per division that will be considered for both SYYC and AP.

3) Top Singaporean 1min freestyles qualify for SYYC finals. (Spinners can also qualify for 3 minute finals)
4) If these top Singaporean 1min freestyles are also amongst the top AP 1min freestyles, they qualify for AP finals as well.
5) Players who qualify for both SYYC and AP will only need to do ONE freestyle per division that will be considered for both SYYC and AP.
6) Players can compete in SYYC and not AP if they wish.
7) Players that wish to compete in AP MUST compete for SYYC.
