It has been a rather quiet week where all the players are having their own "secret underground" training preparing for the Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championships 2008. While thats happening, a line up for 4 guys were called into action to showcase their Radical Moves to a bunch of residents at a neighborhood event.
We manage to catch up with some of the guys during a Show on Saturday evening at Blk 789 Yew Tee. Little that they knew, it was going to be one unexpected crowd size! Beginning the show at 9pm, even with a hot and humid night with sweat in their hands and faces, they manage to pull out an Amazing show enough to make the crowd cheer so loud that it could wake the entire neighborhood up!
So we sneaked amongst the crowd, took out our "Super Special Camera" to take shots of them performing without them noticing us!
And of course! Saving the best for the last was Sean's first public performance debut after winning his Championship spot at the EST 08. He was a "high flyer" and a crowd pleaser with his style of quick and risky yet smooth Off-string routine and even after which he claims, " i thrown in some of my AP 2008 tricks but... i never shown all of them yet ;) ". What can we say? Stay tuned for more from this kid! Thats the last we'd even hear him being associated with being "The underdog".
